Main Services

Manned Surveillance

Let Shadow’s highly trained investigators be your eyes! With investigators in the field for over 25 years, manned surveillance has always been a staple of Shadow’s portfolio of investigative services. This accrued knowledge allows investigators to make knowledgeable decisions based on information gained from past experiences in the field. All surveillance evidence is obtained through strict guidelines ensuring the work is fully admissible and compliant with state and local laws.

At Shadow, every new case begins with a comprehensive database and social media search leading to the creation of a subject profile and ultimately a comprehensive plan of action.

Shadow’s services have been employed on cases large and small, from simple private party small claim disputes to complex, multi-year, multi-million-dollar casualty claims. Moreover, at Shadow your case isn’t just a number – it’s a chance to demonstrate skill, strategy, and innovativeness. Shadow’s seasoned professional staff works with clients to provide a customized, cooperative service that fulfills the needs of each individual case. But perhaps most importantly, Shadow recognizes that time doesn’t stop once you submit a case. Whether called in or submitted via the online case intake form, all cases are handled efficiently, with updates provided throughout the process.

Unmanned Surveillance

Over the past several years, stationary/unmanned surveillance has taken a far more prominent role in investigations. Shadow’s tech specialists assist investigative and case management staff in selecting the right equipment from the company’s arsenal of devices and platforms, as well as determine the best placement for prolonged, consistent surveillance. Unlike some companies who opt to use motion triggered cameras such as trail or hunting cameras, Shadow utilizes the latest in micro camera technology to develop customized unique equipment that records 24/7 so nothing is missed, whether in the foreground or background. Additionally, this technique provides the client with broader context to fully understand what happens directly before or after activity.

Time is valuable, so Shadow’s video specialists sift through hours footage to provide clients with a highlight reel and full, detailed report of subject activity. This provides you, the client, with a “snapshot” of what daily life looks like at the specific location. All video is stored on our safe, secure servers in the event there is ever a need to produce the entire video from start to finish.

Stationary surveillance can be utilized for cases where attendant care and household services are a concern or in question, as well as in rural or possibly hostile places where manned surveillance might not be a viable option. Additionally, stationary surveillance can also be used in conjunction with manned surveillance, either before, during or after, to greatly increase the likelihood of successful observation on any case assignment. Stationary surveillance cases can also be initiated by submitting the case information through Shadow’s case intake form or by calling 888.425.4418 to discuss what options would work best for your next assignment.
